Christine was born in Johannesburg South Africa. From the age of 2 years old Christine trained in Ballet (RAD), Modern (IDTA) and Tap (IDTA). From a young age Christine knew she wanted to teach dance. At age 18, Christine relocated to Athens, Greece where she continued with ballet and contemporary open classes and started Latin American and Ballroom dancing. She completed a BA in Psychology during her time in Greece. After 5 years living abroad, Christine returned home to South Africa and joined the ballet school Dancers where she completed her advanced 1 ballet examination and began her studies to become an RAD registered teacher. In accordance with the RAD, Christine was mentored and trained by Joanne Bobrow and Tracey McNiven for 2 years at Dancers: The Classical Point. Simultaneously, Christine was trained under Rene Callis and successfully completed the Pretoria Teachers Training Program where she learnt subjects such as Benesh, Music, Body Conditioning, Anatomy, Teaching theory, national dance, and classical technique. Today Christine teaches at Dancers and is a junior ballet teacher at the studio.
