Celeste started her early ballet training with Gail McCononaghy, she attended the National School of the Arts and completed her RAD major examinations with Majorie Sturman. She was also taught Classical Greek by Jean Beckley and Spanish dancing with Mercedes Molina.

Celeste danced with Pact Ballet in the late 70’s and is well versed in the art of Modern Dancing trained by Adele Blank. She danced with Adele Blanks Free Flight Dance Company professionally for many years.

Over the past couple of years Celeste has taught the RAD children’s syllabus and Vocational Examinations up to Solo Seal and Professional Status. She served on the East Rand Dance Festival committee and was chairperson for a period of than 5 years plus.

She is a popular guest teacher and an accomplished adjudicator.

She has successfully trained pupils that have excelled at Ballet Schools and competitions nationally and internationally.

Celeste is currently teaching the Grades Syllabus with Francis Sutton and as a vocational teachers at Dancers Studio for Joanne Bobrow. Celeste also freelances at various ballet studios across Johannesburg.
